Burglary // Someone broke into the office at Gilmor Homes in the 1600 block of Booker Court on Wednesday but left without taking anything. A notepad found at the scene of the crime contains a hand-written memorandum that begins "Steal all the money and" but trails off. Police will attempt handwriting analysis sample when the notebook is recovered from the evidence room, or perhaps the seargant’s car.
Assault // Two men were arguing at a bus stop in the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. on Wednesday when a masked man leapt from the bushes and cut one on the right arm with a bayonet. Police arrived at the scene but none of the men were able to identify which was the victim, which was the assailant, and which was just the third guy. All three were taken by ambulance around and around the block a few times, then got out and walked home in different directions.
Assault // A 34-year-old woman was arguing with a former male roommate at her home in the 200 block of N. Fremont St. about 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police responded to a noise complaint and the man refused medical treatment, although no one offered him any.
NORTHWESTERN
Arrest // Donnell Taylor of the 600 block of Dumbarton Ave, was arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of Clearwood Court in Essex, Wednesday in the 1600 block of N. Wolfe St., and twice on Thursday, once in Civic Center and again in Union Square. Police are currently seeking Mr. Taylor or anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts.
Theft // Police were seeking a man who entered a house in the 700 block of W. Cherry Blossom Way on Wednesday and stole a DVD player valued at $140 but left behind jewelry valued at $2,200.
Theft // Someone broke into a 1996 GMC truck parked in the 400 block of Guilford Ave. on Wednesday and took clothing from the front seat valued at $300. The clothing was recovered in the back seat of the same truck.

Burglary // A man sat down at the Blue Checkers Diner in the 3300 block of Acton Road, ordered breakfast, and reported his eggs and toast missing 20 minutes later. They were valued at $7.99 plus .50 for the English muffin.
SOUTHEASTERN
?/? // Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of E. Fairmount Ave. but for the life of them could not recollect why. The dispatcher was unable to offer any advice, as she was struggling to emerge from the women’s restroom. The assailant, if any, is still at large.
Stolen vehicle // 1,371 cars were stolen from the parking lot outside the Big Lots on the northwestern corner of Conkling St. and Broadway. A local traffic officer recovered the cars, and the Big Lots, which turned out to be on the southeastern corner.
SOUTHERN
Theft // A circular saw, water-leak detector and electric meter – all valued at $740 – were stolen Wednesday from a 1995 Chevrolet van parked in the 2700 block of Sethlow Road, but police, starting to get wary about this kind of thing, are going to wait it out before they get all in a tizzy.
Burglary // The second floor of a house in the 600 block of S. Monroe St. was reported stolen. Police attempted to investigate at the scene of the crime but the victims were unable to supply the address of the house’s remaining floor.
Burglary // Someone broke into a house in the 200 block of S. Calhoun St. on Tuesday through a basement door and stole a rounder saw valued at $450. The basement door was stolen last week.
White Marsh
Burglary // Police were seeking three men seen pushing a Suzuki all-terrain vehicle from outside a house in the 10800 block of Pfeffers Road about 4 a.m. Wednesday, toward a van. When observed by someone who called police, the three men climbed into the ATV and drove away. Inside the van were two eggs, over medium, and an English muffin.
Woodlawn
Robbery // A 16-year-old boy was walking along Marriottsville Road near Winans Road about 3 p.m. Wednesday when two apparently unarmed men approached him and gave him a cell phone valued at $400. The boy used the phone to dial police and report the theft.
Indecency // A subway train arriving at the Del Norte Plaza station contained 16 pairs of pants, with wallets, coins, and keys in the pockets, but no passengers.
